Dr. Meyleen Izquierdo
Dr. Meyleen Izquierdo was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and grew up in South Florida. She studied at the University of Florida where she obtained her bachelor of science and later her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Dr. Izquierdo completed an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) at the Bay Pines V.A Hospital in Seminole, Florida. Thereafter, she moved to West Palm Beach, where she practiced for 4 years before deciding to specialize in Periodontics. Dr. Izquierdo received her specialty certificate from New York University. She has over 12 years of general and cosmetic dentistry experience. Dr.Izquierdo is well versed in full arch rehabilitation, extractions, implants, sinus lifts, soft tissue grafting, and osseous surgery in addition to all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. She is a trained LANAP-certified provider, as well as Chao Pinhole surgical technique. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Dental Association, and Second District Dental Society, and the Weston Chamber of Commerce. When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys traveling, cooking, working out, and spending time with her husband and daughters.
